Hair Cuttery

I like the way my hair is cut here, that's the only reason I used go to this location. The downside is they use high pressure sales tactics to sell products and services. I'm on a budget, I can't afford to spend $200+ getting my hair done, and another $200+ on products. Going here is stressful for this reason.



I also get lied to while I'm here. I assume it is because they want to sell you the "right" products. I told the woman cutting my hair that I use coconut oil to heal my hair and have seen studies that prove it is the best oil to use that penetrates the shaft of the hair (see this website: http://www.bioriginal.com/page-articles/the-science-behind-coconut-oil/). She proceeded to tell me that I'm wrong and I need to buy this $40 product instead. Now, I get that they need to make money but she was already jacking up the price by adding a felonious "styling" charge, which I didn't want to dispute. A person can say no only so many times.



Because it's so stressful to sit in a chair for 40 minutes and get hounded by the stylist to spend more money, I can only muster to go but once a year. They should know that if they toned it down a little, they could get 4 times (or more) the amount of money, because I would go more often. Not only that, but I feel I can't trust the stylist's opinion, because shes not giving me the best advice, just the advice that makes her the most money.



One star is too much.

I recently move to the area and was looking for someone to relax my hair. I tried my luck and went into Hair Cuttery. I received a relaxer cut and style and I love it THANKS to DEE... I will return....
