Our founder, Martin Rathbun, is a life-long Alaskan who has worked directly in the meat industry for over 15 years. He was raised on a subsistence lifestyle in rural Alaska, relying on big game hunting to feed his family and small community. This early way of life taught him to appreciate the animal as a whole and that proper care of meat will yield excellent results.
