Famous Pizza & Restaurant

Previously I had rated Famous Pizza with 5 stars. I have since changed my mind. The last four times I ate at Famous Pizza I was greatly disappointed. The service was poorly coordinated. Today it took 10 minutes to get our drinks and 15 minutes before our order was taken. There were only four tables being used and there were five people on the waitstaff. When we finally did get our food, it was a mess. I had the Chicken Parmesana sub; of which half of the chicken was laying on the plate instead of the sub roll. My mother had the Tiger Hoagie. She asked for the dressing on the side. I'm sure it probably started out there, but by the time it arrived at the table, it was all over the entire plate and her sub roll was soggy. The kitchen refused to remake the sandwich or even offer a discount.



Prior visits also resulted in slow service and food we didn't order. I will no longer recommend this restaurant to anyone. I think the folks at Famous Pizza should remember that one bad word travels much faster than 10 good words.

The food is good. I love the steak sub combo. But you do have to pay for refills on soda. Otherwise, I really like this place. It's affordable and you don't get jipped on the fries.

We eat here a good bit for lunch. It's fast, tasty, and doesn't break the bank. I really like the meatball sub, steak combo sub, and Hawaiian Pizza. It's all yummy. The tztazki is usually good. Once in a while it is a little off, but that's what you get when things are homemade.

Love the pizza. I would go back.

At the Famous Pizza, the tztrazki sauce was too garlic tasting. The steak sub was very greasy however once I managed to get a few napkins to wipe grease with, the sub was good. A steak sub combo (as you would think with fries or some side order) actually meant that you would get peppers and onions on your sub. The order of frech fries was worth the $2, it was a large basket. Overall, the service was ok and this is coming from someone who has worked in serval different types of restaurants (making me a little more lieniant when it comes to waitstaff performance).
