- Operational since 1957, Manderfield's Home Bakery has been a full-service retailer offering a selection of fresh bakery products serving the Fox Valley. Based in Appleton, Wis., it offers an assortment of bakery items under categories of bakery, cakes, tortes, desserts and coffee. The store offers a variety of breads/buns, sweet goods and cookies. I'm new to the area...new to Manderfield's Bakery within the year. Love their bread! So many flavorful choices to choose from. I appreciate the discounts of a free donut when you re-use one of their brown paper bags as well as the bread punch card. My kids love going in to get a specially decorated cookie. Rating what we've had on a scale of 1-5 here is what I have to share. Cleanliness (5) Prices (5) Service a 5 with a few exceptions, Bread (4/5) Donuts 4, Cookies 3, Chocolate Cheesecake 3 , Cannoli 1 (This was not a cannoli....tasted like an instant cheesecake filled cannoli shell...my only huge disappointment from this shop. But I have been spoiled with the authentic kind my whole life ... I am not Italian I just know them :)
You can't beat a box of their donuts on a Saturday morning. I was raised on the Manderfield's lemon filled donut as a kid and will always love this place.
