Ryder

This Ryder has the worst fuel station. SLOW the ppl working do nothing but talk to each other. Less talk faster work might get ppl out Faster. Sorry if needing fuel messes up your social life. Why open the hood, you never check the oil

We run a gift basket business and add extra delivery vans on the holidays. Valentine's Day 2008 was a fiasco because we planned on an extra van to be picked up early that morning. We got a call from Ryder 30 minutes before we were to pick up the cargo van advising us that they didn't have the van we reserved well in advance or any other vehicle that we could use. The manager there basically said we were on our own and there was nothing he could do. We tried calling the sales rep who was at our store and pedalled the business and even the regional sale manager. No one did anything to help us or offered to assist us since they left us high and dry. In fact, the sale manager at the Auburn location was extremely rude and made inappropriate comments to us. It seemed like they could care less about retaining our business. (Note that ours is part of a national account that Ryder was trying to get to use). Needless to say, we let everyone know at our corporate site that we could get to.



Kudos to Enterprise in Auburn who was able to help us that day and who we have used ever since. Later on, the Ryder sales rep stopped by with a free day coupon. We threw it in the trash.



If you don't care about even minimal customer service, use this company. If you care about being treated well, especially when the problem belongs to Ryder, go somewhere else for your rental needs.
