Founded in 2005, Sequoyah Middle School has an enrollment of more than 700 students in grades six through eight. The school s core curriculum includes math, science, language arts and social studies. It offers various sports activities, such as football, softball, wrestling, basketball, gymnastics, baseball, volleyball, and track and field. Sequoyah Middle School s music curriculum includes orchestra, band, choir and jazz band. The school maintains a parent-teacher-student association. It organizes spaghetti dinners and bingo nights. Sequoyah Middle School provides the English Language Learners program. The school offers membership options for equity, art, photography, poetry and chess clubs. It is governed by Federal Way Public Schools.
