Established in 1926, the East Avon Volunteer Fire Department is a full-service public safety agency that works to provide fire prevention and suppression and emergency medical and rescue services. It provides information regarding fire prevention and safety. The department s fleet of apparatus includes cars, pumpers, hazardous material trailers, squads and support vehicles. The East Avon Volunteer Fire Department also supports the Explorer program.
