Black Bear Diner

Great experience today¡ we were a group of 19 people around 9am, restaurant was packed. I noticed how everyone was friendly and helpful, they keep their smile all the time. I talked to Gladys the manager on duty, she was very professional and helping everybody, thank you black bear!

Jamie is a great person and server! Always a pleasure having him serve me ! He's the best !!

We went on the 21st of june for my grandaughters birthday very disappointed in the meal.salad was just spinach greens and a little carrot.nothing like porterville or tulare.chicken fried steak was hard like it was reheated.never will go to that one again.sorry.

Had a ok lunch wth kaileb and ken but my California buger...the cheese was melted off and avacodo was about a 1/8 of a avacodo....not to good

I love their Chicken Fried Steak. Their food is always good and the service is good, also. They do give large portions and their prices are reasonable.

We got there and we had to wait 30 minutes. Understandable since it's a new restaurant in town. We were seated but the host failed to inform us the newspaper he handed us were the menus, we've never been to a black bear diner before so that would have been nice. None of the servers seemed to be aware if there would be a lunch special. We got our meals quickly. Mine was cooked well but my wife's was burned. We never received the salad that was supposed to accompany my meal. The manager was nice enough to comp the burned meal but when we got home we realized we were overcharged. We won't be back in the near future.
