I live in Arbutus and try to support local business. When I needed a simple service I tried calling and the answering machine told me they were closed even though it shared hours of business that started ten minutes before. After that I waited a bit and then it rang, and rang, and rang. On the third try I got through to a very rude women who clearly thought I was a terrible inconvience/interuption to her day. I said "I need a lawyer" she replied "Mame! you will just have to hold a minute" and put me on hold without another word. I have not been spoke to like that maybe since I was six and begging my mother for ice cream truck money when she was on an important call. After that I gave up and called another lawyers whos phone was answered by a very chipper women who was helpful and got me on the phone with a lawyer in a jiff where I was able to quickly set up an appt.
