WMAR-TV is one of the commercial television stations owned and operated by Scripps Television Station Group. It has been in operation for more than 50 years. The television station broadcasts a wide range of entertainment and informative programs, including local, national and international news, sports and weather updates, and health, entertainment and business programs. It also broadcasts traffic information, community events, advertisements and contests. Its programs include Good Morning America, Kinderman Show, Got Power, Good Morning Maryland, and Grace and Glory. It also broadcasts programs, such as Suite Life of Zack and Cody, National Bingo Night, Dancing with the Stars, Grey s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives." WMAR-TV supports various public service activities and donates air time each summer to the John's Hopkins Miracle Network Telethon. The television station is located in Baltimore.
