Needed ram for a desktop this past Christmas as a gift for my mom. Brought the specs of the ram, motherboard, and computer to baytown computer exchange. Mitchell SOLD me two 2 gigs sticks, computer powered on, and beeped constantly. Exchanged the two 2 gig sticks for two 512mb sticks that ended up causing damage to my GPU (vertical lines on monitor). Baytown computer exchange knowingly sold me the incorrect memory TWICE after being provided exact memory, motherboard, and desktop models and spec #'s. Baytown computer exchange also refused refund the third time, insisting that I substitute the ram a third time with them after the first two times caused damage to my desktops motherboard.

Great Experience. I took my mom's laptop to them to fix a few glitches and install anti virus protection after the trial period expired. Mom is older and has trouble getting out so they delivered it to her and setup her printer, email, and wifi as well as creating desktop icons to make it easy for her to use. She will definitely be calling them back out if she needs any more help in the future.

Overall

My girlfriend took her computer to Baytown Computer Exchange because her computer died and she needed it that day for college classes she was taking. Well Mitch Pearce told her that her power supply was bad and put one in for her. He charged her $108.00 for putting another power supply in. She got the computer home and after I got off work I went over and hooked the computer up for her. Well the computer died again in about 30 minutes. The place had closed by that time and would not open again until Tuesday as Monday was MLK day and was closed. Well she had to get her school work done so I went to Fry's and bought her a new power supply and put it in. It worked all weekend and is still working now on Tuesday. One other thing he put in a smaller power supply. She calls up Mitch Pearce at Baytown Computer Exchange and he refunded only $35.00 of the $100.00. And to top it off it looks like he had put in a smaller power supply and it had the initials RL on it with a date like it might of been used. To top it off Mitch was a family friend of her fathers. So I would not recommend this place at all....
