I was recommended this place by a friend until her dog too was told it wasn't welcome back. I showed up today to pick up my 5 'month old German Shepard from his first over night stay only to be yelled at by the business owner. Granted my puppy does need work however I do believe I dropped my dog off for a service that I'm paying for, not the other way around. Upon arrival I was initially greeted by the owner with a barked remark, what are your intentions with your dog?!?!? I was so caught off guard I wasn't sure how to respond. Then I was told my dog has no manners, discipline, or socialization. I'm sorry, my initial reaction is maybe you need socialization along with some manners. Anyway I quickly retrieved my stressed out puppy to the car only to realize my growing dog was way underfed according to the food container I brought and it's leftovers. Good luck running a business this backwards in a small town

Linda and her staff are terrific. The facilities are clean and the dogs segregated into open spaces by size. They can run and play, enjoy the pool or, Cooper's favorite, the large sand box. Cooper knows he is going to "camp" as we turn onto Meadowbrook. He jumps out of the car and runs to the gate. That is a recommendation in and of itself.
I only wish we had met Linda sooner. We could have avoided six years of finicky eating and barking issues. Thank you Linda!

I have known Linda for over 10 years and have been tsking my lab and jack russell to day care and have never been happier! She's totally awesome with all of her fur babies! When i turn on her street my boys know where they are going and get so excited! They love it there! She does training (excellent by the way) and boarding too. Goes way out of her way to help you or your fur babt any way she can!! Would never dream of taking my "babies anywhere else!!!!!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO DOGGIE LAMA!! If you're anything like me, your dogs are your babies and I would never want anyone to experience what my dogs did in their weeks stay at Doggie Lama. Upon picking up my 10 month old lab, he was very skiddish, would not look at me when I called him and flinched anytime I touched him, he is my lover-boy and has never flinched a day in his life prior to his visit, he jumped on me in greeting as I returned to get my dogs from boarding, the owner grabbed my dog so roughly by the collar that it jerked all four paws off the ground and then she held him with his front paws off the ground and his neck propped against the prongs of a chain link fence. My 2 1/2 month old lab had huge gashes down her back that took two weeks and 75 dollars worth of antibiotics to heal. Three weeks after boarding, I discover that both of my dogs have fleas. I say again, do not take your dogs to this horrible place!
