Michael R. Sahagian earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Willamette University in 1982, passing the Oregon State Bar exam the following April. Mr. Sahagian believed that in starting his own practice, he could maintain a more personal relationship with his clients, enabling him to be an all around better advocate. In 1983, Mr. Sahagian opened his private practice, working hard and relying on client referrals alone to build what has now become a thriving law practice. With 29 years of experience practicing law as a private attorney, Mr. Sahagian has fine-tuned the art of the attorney-client relationship, providing a solid foundation built on honesty, integrity, and mutual respect. In addition to an active trial Court practice, Mr. Sahagian has appealed cases that have helped shape Oregon law. Two recent examples are: Bean and Bean, 223 Or App 108 (2008) Cassezza and Cassezza, 243 Or App 400 (2011) Mr. Sahagian is also involved in a number of professional organizations including the Washington County Bar Association, Multnomah County Bar Association, and Oregon State Bar Association. In addition to playing an active role in the legal community, Mr. Sahagian is on the Washington County limited list of experienced family law attorneys who are selected by Judges and/or the attorneys of parents to represent children of high conflict divorces.
