Established in 1999, the Somerset Hills Learning Institute is a child development center that serves children with autism and other mental health-related conditions. Its curriculum focuses on the enhancement of academic, physical and functional skills. The Somerset Hills Learning Institute offers treatment, long-term care and financial assistance services. It provides on-site, hands-on medical and educational supervision, as well as individualized curriculum planning, behavior analysis and parenting education services. The center coordinates improved communication between parents and children. It also offers preparation and follow-up services for integrating children into traditional educational settings.
