Gulf Coast Psychotherapy

I was seen at gulf coast psychotherapy on four occasions in 2013. I have excellent insurance, so was shocked when I was contacted by a collection agency in October 2014 for failure to pay my bill, which I never received. The office manager said that their hard drive crashed and couldn't prove that she filed with my insurance company. After dozens of phone calls to the insurance company and credit agency, I was advised to go to their office, get copies of the claims and statements, the office manager informed me that it was impossible to give me a copy as "everything is done electronically". She then threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. They charged me for a visit four months after my last actual visit. The reason that my insurance company never received the claims was because this totally inept, unprofessional office manager was sending the bills to the WRONG INSURANCE COMPANY! They never sent me a bill and just cold bloodedly sent my account to a collection agency. To add insult to injury, the "therapist" did absolutely nothing to help me.
