First Baptist Church

FRIENDLINESS: My husband and I were looking for a Church home so we decided to visit First Baptist Church in Black Mountain. We were in such amazement over the actual Church People.. their friendliness,,, their kindness, their wanting to greet and meet you.. that it made us feel right at home. The People are the Church... we actually went months before we joined, praying and making sure this is where the Lord wanted us... and week after week,,, people telling us how much they loved us being there,,or how thankful they were to have us.. made us feel that the Lord was saying,, "Child You are at Home." It was very difficult to know which Sunday School class to go to because of different ones calling and asking if we would just visit their class. We did visit different classes and the decision was difficult because they all were good. Everyone seemed very truthful in wanting for you and others to be a part of The First Baptist Church in Black Mountain. Now that we have become members of The First Baptist Church, we feel we ALL are just one big wonderful family, working for Our Lord!
