Goose Creek Apartments

I rented an apartment in the complex for a few months. The facilities were acceptable but could use some TLC. The management team is friendly when they want to rent a place and very cold and self-serving after that. One of my neighbors moved out and left several items in his place. He even mentioned that it would be fine to donate them to charities.

A few days later the Goose Creek management came and threw everything in the dumpster. A perfectly fine sofa, a TV monitor, dishes, a coffee machine, all kinds of things that were in fine condition. I know some of it had only been bought less than 1 year ago.

I asked them and all they had to say was: "It is not our responsibility to care for this stuff and we don't want any liability"

I asked them why they don't donate it and help some poor people in town? Again, its not their responsibility.

I asked why not give my former neighbor a call so he could offer it to some charities? Again - not our responsibility and we don't want to spent any time on it.

Bottom line, all they want is rent the places, do minimal maintenance, and not care for poor people, the environment that they burden by throwing everything in the landfill, or anything except making money.

I would not rent from an organization with such irresponsible management and had I known I wouldn’t have rented form them ever. I hope you don't either
