Bad glass, rude. Not clean or neat

great , nice, nice windshield and new molding. came quickly and on time. I NOTICED GARY S HAD WRITTEN A REVIEW ON HIS GLASS THAT HE OWNED . IF HE WILL CALL "" ANY"" GLASS SHOP NONE , AS IN NONE OF THEM WILL WARRANTY CUSTOMER GLASS AND PARTS OR ANY USED PARTS. IT IS CLEARLY STATE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PAID INVOICE THAT I HAVE. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL "" ANY "" GLASS SHOP AND HE AND ANYONE WILL FIND OUT THAT CUSTOMER GLASS IS NOT GUARANTEED IN ANY WAY. THE INVOICE OF APPIALACHIAN AUTO STATES " NO LIABILITY OR WARRANTY ON CUSTOMER PROVIDED OR USED GLASS. HELLLLO. JUST HAD TO WRITE THIS BECAUSE MY FAMILY HAS USED APPALACHIAN SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE YEARS AND THEY ARE GREAT , NICE AND WE HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM ....... THANK YOU

I hired Appalachian Glass in Feb 2016 to fix leak around rear window of my 1965 Mustang. Steve came in March to fix but broke the glass when putting it back in. He told me he would find a glass and fix it and left. This went on for 3 weeks or so during which I called several times to get status. I called the office phone and talked to, I guess his wife Joy who is listed as the President. She informs me that they are not going to fix it. She said they were not responsible for breaking the glass. I sent them a certified letter stating that I was going to take legal action if I did not hear from them and they did not replace the glass. They did not respond. I called my insurance agency. They said they would cover the loss and go after Appalachian Glass for reimbursement. They have settled the claim with me and are in the process of taking legal action against Appalachian Glass. So, in my opinion, this is not a reputable honest business. I would not recommend doing business with them.
