General Info: Founded in 1984, Midland Adult Services, also known as MAS, is an independent, nonprofit corporation that provides a range of employment services. The corporation offers supervised job training and employment programs for young adults aged 21 and above with developmental disablities. It specializes in on-the-job training and coaching and short-term job placement. The corporation also offers various training opportunities, as well as contract manufacturing services. Midland Adult Services operates a more than 9,000-square-foot facility that is equipped with industrial racks, power lifts, pallet machines and loading docks. The corporation additionally offers shrink-wrap, repackaging and labeling services. Located in Branchburg, N.J., it specializes in custom, pharmaceutical and cosmetic packaging. Midland Adult Services is a part of The Midland School, which is a nonprofit special education school that serves children with developmental disabilities.
