Brandon Meats and Sausage, founded in 1985, slaughters and processes beef, hogs, lambs and deer. The company has a large retail area with a cutting room, and a waste holding area for both retailing and slaughtering areas. The showroom includes a cooler bunker, frozen food bunkers and showcases, as well as dairy, cheese, and soda coolers. It has a 1,600-square-foot freezer and a bay storage area to house four refrigerated trailers, and two grills used for summertime festivals and baseball tournaments. Brandon Meat and Sausage also processes meat of wild animals, including moose, elk, bear, and wild boar. The company offers other meat products, including shredded turkey and beef in gravy, a variety of marinated chicken breasts, chicken cordon blue, and fried chicken.
