Dr. Dowâ€™s specific area of expertise is blood cancers - multiple myeloma, lymphomas and leukemias as well as Von Willebrandâ€™s Disease and Sickle Cell Anemia. He graduated from Harvard University and went on to receive an M.D. from Tufts University Medical School. He did his internal medicine residency training at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago before returning to Tufts Medical Center to undertake specialty fellowship training in hematology/oncology. He also did additional training in bone marrow transplantation for hematologic and genetic diseases at the world - renowned Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle.

Radiation Therapy
A cancer diagnosis can be the beginning of a difficult journey with an uncertain destination. Under the supervision of Dr. Dhillon, the trained and dedicated staff of NCCCH provides patients with access to cutting-edge technology and cancer therapies, including surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapy. In collaboration with cancer specialists from Bostonâ€™s renowned medical centers, our providers monitor the latest medical breakthroughs and research to provide personalized care for each patient.
Radiation Oncology
Dr. Dhillon was joined by Dr. Steven Lane at a recent conference on breast cancer, given by the Brockton Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Assn. Dr. Dhillon spoke about treatment modalities and their benefits and adverse effects. Dr Lane, who is the Radiation Oncology Chief at Brockton Hospital, also spoke.

General Surgery
Dr. Dhillon completed three years of her research and clinical fellowship in Oncology/Hematology at Tufts University, New England Medical Center, Boston in 1987. Prior to that, she completed 3 years of Residency in Internal Medicine at P.G. General Hospital and Medical Center, in Cheverly, MD. She also completed residency in Pediatric Surgery and General Surgery at Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, India, where she received her medical degree. Her Senior Residency was completed at King Edward Memorial Hospital in Bombay, India and at Tata Memorial Cancer Institute, one of the largest cancer institutes in India.
