Mars Venus Salon & Day Spa

I would not recommend this place to anybody. 1st off she took my appointment at 530 made me wait until 8pm to start foiling me . Took the rest of her clients until she was done how rude?! I was last not right at all. When she put the color on she left it on for other AN HOUR!!!! Is this a joke. Then after that The OWNER KRISTIE foiled me , then rinsed me out with cold water didn't even message my scalp to ends all the way.....let me blow dry and comb my own hair didn't even pay attention....... She charged me over 200 made me pay before my color was even looked at , or she told me she couldn't do anymore work to it . Is that really how you talk to a customer & your an owner NEVER aGaIN she just wants your $$$$ watch out

I would definitely recommend Mars Venus Salon and Spa. I didn't go in for the spa, but I did get my hair cut and colored. I have never been treated better by a stylist! Kristie (the owner) is amazing at what she does and I would recommend anyone to go to Mars Venus for a wonderful day at the spa or to get your hair pampered! ♥

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!!! I had a gift card but was told they need my credit card on file. I had a massage (which was great!), a facial, mani and pedi (both look horrible...bubbles in the polish,half painted, peeling off after a day gel polish doesn't just peel off!) it was so dark in the room I couldn't tell until I left!! I was told it would be $10 extra for the gel polish and they would bill my card on file....I was billed $45!!!! No one knew how to refund my card and the owner Kristy keeps telling me she will get back to me...I figure I'm out the money!!!! Very bad business ethnic!!! Two trips in one....my 1st and last!!!!

I almost never provide critical on-line reviews because I am overly tolerant of poor customer service and I always give businesses a generous benefit of the doubt. (Running a business is challenging.) However, once in a great while, you run into a customer experience that is so bad, there is a sense of obligation to share with others.



I purchased a gift card for my wife for Mother's Day and scheduled a "spa day" for her at Mars and Venus in Brownsburg, IN. My wife cleared her calendar for an all-day session, and when she arrived that day, she was told that her appointment had been cancelled (with no explanation). My wife was perplexed and inconvenienced, but these things happen, and she scheduled another spa-day a couple weeks out.



In the meantime, friends all over Brownsburg and Indy began to share serious, negative feedback with us about Mars and Venus. We started to get concerned, but dismissed much of the bad feedback and tried to keep a positive outlook. When my wife's second all-day appointment arrived, Mars and Venus called her 2 hours and 50 minutes prior to let her know that her appointment had been cancelled again.



I went into the store to politely request a refund and the owner indicated that it is "physically impossible" for her system to provide a refund. As someone who has a thorough understanding of both technology and customer service, I know this is (1) not true and (2) a devastating way to run a business based on solid customer service. Of course, the owner (Kristie) did indicate that we could purchase product from her store if we would like. Unfortunately, like many others who have posted feedback, we are out big $$$ for services promised, but never received.



Who else has had similar experiences at Mars and Venus in Brownsburg? Please share in order to help educate this business owner and other potential customers. Perhaps our feedback might help this struggling business to flourish someday.

NEVER GO HERE! The Owners of this place have lost their minds! You think you are going into a "high" end salon, dont be fooled. Products they use, claiming to be aveda are actually products you can buy at the local sallys store. The owner talkes in circles trying to make you believe you need certain services to upgrade your costs, and the employees are all NEW ALL THE TIME! Seems to me like they have a problem keeping people to work for them. My Haircut and color was horrible. Great Clips could've done a better job! Dont GO TO MARS VENUS all you will get is a bunch of lies and your hair messed up!

Prepaid for a service that was never provided. Tried for over a month with no satisfaction. But when asking for a refund, owner was rude and called cops to have me escorted off the property. Still no refund, or service. Out over $100. Just remember if you ever visit for a service, don't forget to ask for the complementary police escort. So please beware. Just ask around and read other reviews before you spend your money.

BEST MASSAGE EVER! I wish they had a salon on the southside of Indy

Mars and Venus is a place for the whole family. My teenage son has a lot of hair to tame. Kortney does a great job and we are both happy with the results. Would recommend this salon and especially this stylist.



Kortney is the best stylist. She really knows how to pamper her customers. She does an awesome job whether it be cutting hair, making conversation, giving a great head and neck massage or coloring hair.

Fun to be there. Sure feel better when you leave. Highly recommended for anyone. Kortney is the greatest.

I must say that i have been with Mars Venus for a long time. I love they way everyone acts as a family, and they all seem to care for client well being. They recommend products that will work for your hair, but they aren't pushy.
