Mark's Garage

Don't ever buy anything from Mark's Auto in Stockton Springs. I bought a Dodge Caliber from him 7 months later I have it brought in to have it looked at because it was making strange noises. I was told that the rear struts were shot, there was a hole in the rocker panel that would never pass inspection, the 4 tires that were on the car that I was told was "like new" were bald, and had dry rot. One of them was 16 years old as the date on the tire said 2001. I was also told I would have to get new tie rods as they were loose and causing extreme wear on the inner part of the tire.

When I first bought the car it passed inspection, little did I know he passed it himself illegally and sold it to me as if nothing was wrong with the car. I understand used cars will have it's problems but he sold me a car that is not only dangerous but won't pass inspection. He told me within the first 2 weeks that the loan company will call me to ask how I like my car. He advised me that I need to tell them I like the car or he would drive to my house, and tow it away. This was my first car, so I was nervous, I didn't realize that he legally can't do that. So I told the loan company that it was in great shape and that I liked it.

Mark is a liar and sold me a piece of crap car that I owe 6,000 dollars on, that will not pass inspection until I put another 2,000 dollars worth of work into. I even found the previous owner's death certificate and photo's of grand children in the glove box. WEIRD.... DON'T EVER buy anything from him. He's a shark! If I could give 0 stars, I would.
