PetSmart

Whatever you do- DO NOT work for PetSmart! Especially the one on Transit Road in Clarence. They treat their employees like garbage. The manager is self centered and arrogant. There is no room for promotion from within, as they will go out of state and hire people with no experience rather than promote deserving employees from within. The pay is minimal and you are never appreciated. PetSmart is probably rated below zero for best places to work in the USA.

All employees are wonderful, with the exception of a manager by the name of Michele. She is the only reason that I can't give the store the 5 stars it deserves. She has been rude to myself, other customers and I have even overheard her yelling at employees in front of everyone. It was very unprofessional and very uncalled for. Michele gives me the impression of being bothered if asked questions.

Everyone else is more than happy to help you with any questions you may have or just help you locate a product in the store. I really look forward to shopping there. I get all my pet supplies there every week. The atmosphere is very friendly and everyone seems to enjoy their jobs. There's always a friendly hello when you walk in and a have a good night and come back soon when you leave. They always remembers my little dog by name. Which makes both of us comfortable. The cashiers and the training staff are exceptional, especially Tatjana. I wouldn't take my dog, for training, to anyone other than Tatjana. She and her fellow employees is what keeps me coming back there even though I pass other pet stores on my way to this Petsmart.
