Please respond to this message. I bought a remote starter for my son at Christmas time and he has never made an appointment to get it installed. Today I
drove by and it looks like your business is closing. Will your business still honor
the starter I purchased and give my son a refund? After all it was $300.00..

This shop is a HUGE disappointment. Took my 2010 370Z here to get window tint due to the website stating how great the warranty was and how they guarantee a "FLAWLESS" product. After having the tint applied I noticed an insane amount of air bubbles in the tint. The very RUDE "tint guy" stated it would take 10 days for them to disappear. Well... 2 months later... They are still there.
After reading online and talking to different tint shops I was advised that these types of air bubbles are NOT going to disappear. They are created by the installer not properly cleaning the windows and rushing the job. After this I decided to go back to Speed of Sound and see if they would honor their warranty....
Of course they didn't... The "tint guy" basically said I was being "nit picky" and refused to do anything with it and just walked away from me. I went inside to speak with the "manager" who was equally as unhelpful. He said he would call Viper and see what they would do. I am not holding my breath because I know Viper isn't going to do anything for a poor install. The tint product is just fine, the installer has NO clue what he is doing.
OVERALL a very poor experience from this shop. Poor installment, poor attitudes all around, and overall just a run down dirty disgusting environment. I will not take any of my cars back to this place, nor will I ever recommend someone to go there. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else!

I purchased high end speakers from them and returned because the sound quality was awful. They ended up setting up the mids and tweets wrong, which caused the tweeter to completely blow. I could tell the quality was not as good as it should be, but figured they were professional and knew what they were doing.
I recently upgraded speakers and found out they sold me much higher level speakers and put in the lowest level speakers this company sold. I called them and confronted them and they literally laughed at me on the phone and took no accountability for what they sold me.
I would advise everyone to do not go see them, they have no honesty or integrity which you must have when trusting someone to do a professional install in your car.
Well i truely apologize for this review. When someone comes to us 7 years later stating that equipment they purchased 7 years ago from another location is the wrong equipment, unfortunately there isnt much we can do. Had the problem been addressed years ago we would have corrected the problem if there ever was one. You have to understand from our point that for all we know you had some blown speakers, picked a name in the book and call with some accusations. I am again sorry for whatever it is you think our business might have done, but i can assure you the butler location has been here for over a decade, and for the most part we hold a 98% satisfied customer rate. I would do anything for one of my customers within my limits

My husband bought me a gift certificate to get a car starter installed in my car as a christmas gift. He gave it to me before christmas. I called to set up an appt. I was told it would take several hours. They had appt times, but nothing early in the morning, so I could cooridinate with working and getting my son at daycare. We then found a morning appt, so that my car would be the first one done of the day. I dropped it off, even before they opened that day. I called at 1pm and they told me that they had just started to work on it, they had "drama" and it put them behind. I then called at 3pm and was told it should be done by 4pm but no later than 4:30pm. They then stated there was another car that they were having problems with and the employees work on that and left my car. (what made that car more important than mine) I then called at 4:40pm and was told that they just finished it. I left to get my car and was waiting to get my keys, since it was already paid for. The one person was waiting on another person, then another salesperson came up and asked he he could help, i told him that i was here to get my car. He stated i would have to wait, so the first salesperson could check me out, all the while he just stood there. I finally got to talk to this person and he handed me my keys without any explanation of how to use the remote. I would never reccommend this place to anyone who wants good service. I will try to find another place if i have any problems, even though there is a lifetime warranty on my starter.
I am sorry that you feel that our service was not to your liking. 1st let me start by saying that in the month of december we do roughly around 100 - 150 remote starters. At an average of 2.5 hours a car and a 50plus hour work week.... needless to say the holidays can get crazy, as it is with most businesses. If you were quoted a pick up time, i apologize because due to the traffic during the winter months we give each customer an average estimates time frame, but let everyone know that it is all based on slot scheduled in book and type of vehicle. EX: the 1st dodge charger i did took me over 8 hours due to the type of vehicle. That customer picked up her car at 12:30 at night when i had finished it, and she was very understanding. The fact that i could even do it in the first place she was happy for. As far as the lack of instructions and having to wait. I can tell you that you are one of the few that this has ever happened to. I specifically stop what i am doing and come to go over the starters with every customer. Understand the unit is very important for basic operations. All i can say in the end is i feel terrible that one of my customers feels they have been treated in a way that wasn't to there liking. I strive here to try and make every customer happy to the best of my abilities. I am very sorry if you choose to go somewhere else the next time you need something. I can assure you that every now and again things happen, no matter how hard you try you might miss something or something might go wrong. Hey sometime mcdonalds forgets my fries or puts pickles on my burger, but i still go there if i am hungry. I thank you for your business, apologize for your problems, and if you feel like coming back to our shop, i can guarantee that your next experience will be better than the last. Thanks
