The FOCUS Alternative Learning Center is a private, nonprofit therapeutic learning center that promotes study skills, self-motivation and self-esteem. The center specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents who have anxiety disorders and social learning difficulties. It offers family and individual therapies, and medication monitoring services. The FOCUS Alternative Learning Center organizes check-in and wrap-up meetings, activity and agenda groups, outdoor activities and nature classroom sessions. Its programs include occupational therapy, recreation, mentoring, daily academic and summer recreation program. The center operates a store that sells magnets, bags and shirts.
