        As a California distinguished school, Mint Canyon Community School provides a range of learning options for the academic, emotional and physical development of students in kindergarten through grade six. The school offers instruction in English, social studies, math and science. It has a parent-teacher association that conducts books fairs, family nights and picnics. Mint Canyon Elementary School has a site council and library. The school is recognizes as a Blue Ribbon school. In addition, it serves more than 350 students. Mint Canyon Community School is a part of the Sulphur Springs School District, which governs several elementary, middle and high schools.
