Blinds Plus

Just bought a new house and needed blinds throughout. Since we are not familiar with the area, we called a blind company we received a flyer from in the mail, which I will not name. The gentleman came to our house, acted as if some of the things we were seeking were unusual, and gave us the overall salesman pitch. I asked the gentleman what brand of blinds he used, and searched reviews on the brand. When the brand reflected a two star, I further searched reviews on his particular company. Sure enough, the company, and his specific location rated a 1.5 star. Needless to say, this gentleman was not happy when I advised him of my findings. He used excuses upon excuses for the reviews.



Now, about Vertical Blinds Plus/Blinds Plus



I'm not sure why I didn't do this in the first place, but I searched reviews for blind companies. Blinds Plus was rated a five star, and was a local business. I called to schedule an appointment, and spoke to Rosey. I love Rosey! Rosey is a very pleasant woman, who answered a few of the concerns I had at that time, scheduled an appointment for Christina to come to our home, and communicated with us along the way. Christina arrived on time, and brought many, many samples. The first window we showed her, she said, "and you're going to want this to sit here to the side to keep your view, correct?!" YES, this is one of the things I said to the prior gentleman, who acted as if I were out of my mind!!! We wanted vertical blinds in the three windows in our shower. Christina advised us, the string from the water, will not last as long. This was something else, the first gentleman never mentioned, and was going to sell us. Christina showed us a variety of blinds, shades, etc., many of which I didn't know existed because they were so modern. Christina quoted us a price, which was slightly lower (by a few hundred) than the first quote we received, but explained SO much more the first guy hadn't. Speaking with Christina felt as if we were speaking to a good friend. One problem we faced were decisions on colors, which Christina, working in this family business for many years, gave us her personal opinion. I can't say enough good about this company, the blinds came in exactly when they said they would. Rosey said they'd call a few days before to schedule the installation, and they did, and they look fantastic! Rosie also called the day of, and the hour before to advise they were on their way. Eddie, and Sy installed the blinds, and were simply amazing. My five year old grandson was at my home during the installation, and he became their 'Lil Helper. They had the patience of a saint, where most would feel a child was in their way.



You may find a company who compares in price, but you will not find a company who puts so much care and compassion into their work/business, and sell good quality materials.
