Ruyi Dim Sum

I love the dim sum here! It's absolutely delicious! The cook was wonderful and I dont think people understand that this is mainly a "takeout" place so that's probably why they only serve food on paper plates. Everyone there is very sweet! If you love dim sum or Chinese food I highly recommend you go there. Best in town!!!

My friend and I went there last night. The banner outside says "GRAND OPENING!!" It's very small, and the front window was greasy and dirty. They only have three tables. They served us paper take-out style menus. Much of the dim sum looked old and all shriveled up. The dim sum menu wasn't in stock, because they get it from somewhere else. They served us water in small paper cups about 15 minutes after we arrived, and small plastic forks. My two dim sum items were served on a paper plate and quickly went cold. They served my friend a to-go tray and to-go box, and finally a paper plate. The food was served so dry, it actually left NO trace of sauce on the plates, not exaggerating. They brought me a cup of "gravy" for my chow fun noodles. I thought that the noodles, broccoli and chicken were horrendous before I dipped a noodle into the gravy, and found out what horrendous really was. The gravy had a layer of brown oil at the top, with gooey, lava-lamp stuff at the bottom. I couldn't eat my dinner, and left the pile of ghastliness on the plate, with the lady offering to cook me something else, and me shaking my head vigorously, "NO. NO! NO!!" Mine cost over $20.00! Now I know why they only have three tables. That's three too many!!
