Our Ice cream shop carries only the best, Queenie's Ice Cream, home made ice cream made fresh with locally grown ingredients. If you're staying on the island for a while and want to bring your own boat, no problem. We offer dock rentals. Pine Island Sound has some of the best fishing in the world. Varieties you can look forward to include Redfish, Trout, Snook, Tarpon, and Shark. People come from all over the world to fish our waters and the best fishing guides in Florida call it their home. We will help you arrange a charter either inshore or offshore during your vacation. Spend a half day or full day with one of our experienced guides. Our area is also the Tarpon Capital of the world. Barnacle's Kayak Rentals offer you access to the Caloosa Blueway and an up close in personal experience of local wildlife, including dolphins and manatees, in their natural, undisturbed habitat. Visit the secluded Florida state park beaches that are only accessible by boat. This island wildlife preservation is home to rare bobcats, Bald Eagles, sea turtles, gofer tortoises and many more creatures.
