I have been a client of the Duke Law Firm for years. Although they have many cases you always feel that yours is important. I have never called or sent an email that has not been answered right away by Desiree. If she is out of the office then her associates are quick to follow up. Appointments are prompt and efficient. Everyone is always warm and reassuring. They do everything in their power to acquire a good outcome for their clients. Court cases are difficult, Desiree has always taken time to listen to my concerns and is one of the most caring and compassionate people that I have ever met. I am thankful for her advice throughout the years. She works very diligently for her clients, to achieve great results for challenging cases, coming up with solutions when there doesn’t seem to be one. Desiree as well as the rest of the firm are dedicated, hardworking and strive to achieve a successful outcome for every client. It is a firm that will be there for you every step of the way! I cannot say enough about her and the entire staff. I highly recommend them. They are an amazing law firm!

I contacted the Duke law firm to help with my husbands probation violation case. Both Desiree Duke and Tim Heath were so professional and patient with me during such a stressful time. Even the ladies that answer the phone were very kind (even when I called almost everyday lol). Specifically Mr. Heath, he worked diligently on my husbands case and in less than a week my husband was out, with all charges dropped and his probation reinstated. He fought hard in dealing with probation and would not wanted to be a hard ass. He used his knowledge and experience to figure out a way to get it done and made it happen. This is the type of attorney you want in your corner. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Mr Heath and the entire firm. Obviously I hope we are never in another situation like this again, but if so, I will only call Mr. Heath and the Duke Law Firm. Thank you!

Personally, I have never used this firm before. But I just received a letter from Ms. Duke's newest Family Law lawyer. The letter was VERY unprofessional. It was full of grammatical errors, some examples are: repeating sentences, missing punctuation or overuse of punctuation, missing words, misspelled words, and words used in the wrong context. The format of the letter was also incorrect and it lacked an actual signature. At first, I thought the letter was a fake, possibly sent from the person that I am having issues with. I had to call the firm to verify that the letter was legitimate. The letter was also very ugly, and the majority of the content was the him telling me how I should spend my time. Frankly, I am an adult and can spend my time how I so choose. He also spent a large portion of the time giving me his opinions, which again, is very unprofessional, opinions in every sense of the word are just that...opinions. Nothing legal about personal opinions, and as a representative of a very successful law firm, you would think that the content would have maintained a legal diction. Again, I am not an actual client, but I figured the firm would like to be aware of this issue so that maybe a proof reader can be used next time.

Desiree Duke is an excellent attorney. She helped me with our custody case right from the start. From the second I met her to the last moment of winning our case in court, she was helpful, respectful, professional and just plan awesome!! I highly recommend her for any law matter, but especially for custody! Thank you Desiree Duke our family is forever grateful to you!

Hello my name is anthony north ive had two lawyers before the duke law firm i have been fighting for my son for eight years other lawyers never even got me close to getting custudy of my son its hard for a father to receive custudy trust me i know but the the duke law firm went to bat for us and accomplished what other law firms couldn't i am so great full to this law firm i cant say enough good things about them i highly i mean highly recommend them.

Desiree Duke has what it takes to win your case! She handled my case and me with care and professionalism. I truly believe that she actually cares what happens to you, and she will do everything she can to make you feel secure. When I called or emailed, she always responded in a quick manner, and she never put me off until the next day. Sometimes it would be the evening before she was able to get back with me, but she always did. Her clients come first. Not only is she caring and professional, but she is one of the most intelligent people I know. She was able to bring to light a lot of details that I hadn't even thought of, and her knowledge of the law seems endless. Additionally, she proved over and over that she cared about my children’s safety and needs. Desiree is consistent and persistent. She will do all she can to make sure you leave the court room feeling good about the decisions made.

My family has used this law firm in the past and when our new circumstance came up we knew just who to call. Desiree Duke helped my husband obtain custody of his young son back in 2009 and this year she helped me adopt that precious little boy as my own. She was very up front with me about step parent adoptions and some of the challenges we may face and honesty is very important to me. My thanks not only goes out to her but also to Katie, her paralegal who has even corresponded with me after hours in one of my many panicky moments and the rest of the staff who is always kind and helpful. To us Desiree is not just our lawyer, but our friend.
