I walked into the shop and the environment seemed peaceful (unlike most shops). The staff was very friendly and they had a very funny show playing in the waiting room. As most women that go into a mechanic shop felt, I was nervous. I was going in for a simple oil change but I had a sinking feeling that I was going to be hit with a "We recommend blah blah blah..." and sure enough, that's what I received. In addition to an oil change, I was told that I needed transmission service, air & cabin filter, F/R struts/ shock , an alignment and 4 new tires. This would all come up to be $537. This might be all true but I would for once like to go into a shop and leave with only what I came for. I informed them that I would get other quotes and get back to them

These guys are the best, dropped off my Mitsubishi Galant because the engine was making noises, when I came back to pick up my car started it up no noise car is running smooth, thanks a lot guys will definitely refer my friends and family to you.

Big O Tires has knowledgeable mechanics with amazing prices on tires. I shopped the entire Sunday to purchase tires for my 2004 Nissan. Many the businesses on the same street refused to work with me because I was on tight budget or try to talk me into unnecessary repairs. When I visited Big O Tire the stuff were professional. Took the time to explain the car needed break fuel to eliminate the squeaky sound plus it will make the breaks perform better. Next, Management took the time to describe the differences in different tires for my car with cost in mind. They installed brand name tires for half of the price. Don’t need to shop around they have the best prices and service in city of Carson.

Great place to get your tires because they have nearly every size and brand tire you can think of in stock. They give honest recommendations. Prices are very good. No pressure from the sales staff in any way. Install is pretty quick. I will be back.
