Bella Salon & Spa

I've been a repeat customer at this salon for a few months now, receiving monthly waxing services. I give them 2 stars because up until this week, I've had a very good experience with them. The girl that has normally does my services was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, fun to talk to and good at what she did. I would have rated her with 5 stars. Unfortunately, she went on maternity leave the one week I had to reschedule my appointment for a lunch break. They had a new girl that clearly was inexperienced take over. She took more than twice the time to do the service and only did half of it. At the time, I was already late back to work so I had to leave. I felt very disappointed but paid anyways. It literally feels like I flushed that money down the toilet because I now have to go to another salon to have the rest of my wax completed. The new lady was super friendly, and fun to talk to but just inexperienced. I felt bad about complaining, since I've worked in the salon industry for many years and initially wanted to avoid the confrontation because I felt so bad about it. However, my husband talked me into contacting them and asking them to fix it. I politely told them my problem and asked if the could fix it but they just ignored me. I contacted them on 3 separate occasions and they ignored me each time. I would have even paid the difference to have the rest of the wax completed just so I can stop feeling embarrassed about it. However, it's clear that they could care less about retaining their customers, especially because I was a repeat customer with intentions of coming in monthly, and even expending my services in the future. I feel very disappointed but it's time to cut my loss and move on to a different salon.
