Pooja graduated from Arcadia University with her doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019. She completed her bachelor's degree in 2012 from India. She has worked in a variety of settings, with a varied patient population. She is certified in Vestibular rehabilitation from The American Institute of Balance and LSVT big (Parkinson’s Disease and Similar Conditions) from LSVT Global, Inc. She moved to North Carolina in 2014. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and is most experienced in orthopedics and neurological cases. She has a passion for promoting wellness for all and feels strongly about individualizing treatment to each patient. She loves watching movies and spending time with her family and friends
Joint Replacement
Farrah obtained a Masters in Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 2001. She is a Sanford native and has been with Kinetic since 2001. Farrah special interest lies in lumbrosacral dysfunction and total joint replacement rehabilitation. Farrah utilizes myofascial release techniques to assist with pain relief. Farrah’s personal interests include spending time with her family and traveling, especially to the North Carolina coast.
MaryEllen received her B.S. in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 1988. She received a M.S. in Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2002, and received a PhD. in Orthopedic and Sports Physical therapy from Rocky Mountain in 2018. MaryEllen is co-owner of a private practice in North Carolina and building the framework necessary to allow for clinical-based research. She has a special interest in Aquatic Physical Therapy and develops aquatic protocols for orthopedic and sport specific conditioning programs. Interests outside physical therapy include physical activity with the family, good food, good movies, fashion and reading.

Aquatic therapy has many advantages. It increases mobility, muscle strength, body awareness, relaxation and cardiovascular endurance, and improves coordination, balance and respiration. We are proud to offer aquatic services at our Sanford Facility.
Manual Therapy
Katelyn is a graduate of the University of St Augustine, where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018. She has completed a series of post-graduate courses through the University of St. Augustine's Manual Therapy Certification program, specializing in hands-on treatment of the head, neck, back and hips. Katelyn has an extensive background in exercise and it's benefits, having received her Masters Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology from the University of Tennessee in 2015. She loves working one-on-one with patients of all ages and fitness levels at Kinetic. Katelyn is from Upstate New York, and has quickly fallen in love with North Carolina and it's similar scenery. She loves spending time with her family and being outdoors.
