Root Canal Treatment
Crowns cover or â€œcapâ€ a tooth to restore the normal function and natural appearance of the tooth. Crowns may be constructed as all metal, porcelain fused to metal, or all-ceramic (porcelain). A crown may be recommended for fractured, discolored or badly shaped teeth or for teeth with very large fillings or a root-canal. He graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University School of Dentistry and was inducted into the Honorary Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon and also received the Robert J. Rothstein Award for excellence in prosthodontics (crown and bridge). Dr. Zimmerman completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the prestigious Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY.
