To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Anthony Davis; I’m a very concerned customer. I frequent your Ray and Kyrene location often and on the evening of February 22nd at 10:11pm I called in a phone order, as I’ve done many times before. This time instead of the usually very pleasant Amanda answering the phone, a man answered and began taking my order. Which usually consist, of a dozen baked wings for pick up, cooked 3 to 3.5 times well done. After placing my order, to my surprise the gentleman’s response was that he would cook the wings until 10:30pm only. I was already shocked that he would make such a rude response to any customer and even more than that, a frequent customer I’m sure he was aware of. I asked him why was he so rude, he explained he wasn’t but they closed at 10:30 and that’s would be the latest that he would cook the wings.
I began to wonder, what if it was 10:28pm and I ordered them cooked once, would he take them out at 10:30pm and serve them half done. Wow, what a liability and what if I had came in the store and ordered my wings at 10:29pm, would he have denied me my order and should your sign read close at 10:30 but, no food can be ordered past 10:00pm. What was so important then caring for your customer 2/3 minutes past closing to insure there satisfaction and continued patronage. Maybe he had a date that was more important. I’m not sure but, after placing the order anyway, I called back to cancel. I didn’t trust him preparing my food. I asked him his name he told me sneeringly, he was Jerry. I asked his position, to my surprise he said the manager. I couldn’t believe that someone tied to the stores bottom line, would fire customers at a whim. I would like a follow up response to this letter explaining what has been done so that I can fill comfortable continuing to do business with your establishment.
I never heard a response to my question from any store manager to date 8/2/13. In this economy, it's shocking that a business would so easily fire a customer...
Sincerely,
Anthony Davis
