Tuesday Morning

My daughter and I recently went shopping in this store. I have had problems in the past with rude cashiers but this last trip was the worst. Upon arriving at the cash register with 2 cases of soda that was advertised in a flyer as being on sale - and in a display with a sale price clearly displayed, I was overcharged. When I brougt this up to the cashier - after she had already double scanned one of my other items, she was rude and told me the soda was not included in the sale. I pointed out the flyer and the display to her and she said that it was too bad, the soda that I chose was NOT included. She then called over a young man from produce and he proceeded to stand in my daughters face and started telling her that the soda was not on sale and that the vendors put it in the display wrong. The young man was rude and would not back down. I ended up demanding a manager - having asked nicely twice and finally went and got him myself. And the manager, after making excuses and blaming the vendors, finally gave me my discount. I did not go into this store for rudeness and excuses, I went to buy a product that was advertised as being on sale! This store has a reputation for bad customer service and it is a shame that it continues to go on. I choose to shop elsewhere now and refuse to be treated so rudely again! I think that the management needs to give classes on proper customer service to every employee in the store - in particular, the cashiers and produce people!
