Expert Nail & Tanning

The gentleman that welcomed me in was nice and offered me a free beverage during my wait. I was called over to a lady and I asked for gems on my nails and she said a small gem was $10 per finger. I declined and mentioned that I have some gems at home and she replied yeah do your nails at home. Its cheaper. She I asked for a square shape and this woman made my nails look like big boats. My square shape but too bulky. When I told her she sighed made faces and was very agitated. I told her a neon color with gold and she said that will not be cute. I'm the customer and if I want it... do it. After she applied my color choices she said ooo that's pretty...ur young and know what's nice. When she act like she was finish I didn't like that she didn't go down enough to my nail bed. It looked like I would need a full in in 4 days. She said "is the a problem?" And was ducking her teeth when I expressed that I wanted her to bring my color down some. I was disappointed and did not want to cause a scene. Went on vacation and my nails lasted 4 days.

Let me start off with this place has reputation of doing nails well which is why we chose this particular location instead of one that's closer to our house. I am single mom and getting our nails done for her prom is most definitely a splurge. My daughters nail technician which was male had her so upset she left in tears he cut her twice and when she asked if he can round the tips just a little bit more he blatantly said no no smile no explanation no politeness absolutely rude my nail technician told me my daughter was spoiled... i obviously took offense...this ruined a special time / event. the entire time we were there getting our services done we kept trying to have a good mother daughter day. The surrounding nail technicians were being spoken to with disrespect and  rudeness. . Yet my daughter and I are using please and thank you asking questions and trying to keep up polite chatter. we will never attend this place again nor recommend.  In addition they gave us a price hike just to shape the nails a $5 charge for shaping Nails is not acceptable I could understand for French nail which requires extra nail polish but not to shape a damn nail. you have to shape a nail!!  We asked for almond and round nothing extravagant. Again we felt mislead and taken...mostly treated rudely. We felt obligated to continue because they told us after they had already  started services on our nails.. thieves and rude.  Unprofessional unacceptable.  Ruined what is supposed to be a moment to remember. Unforgiven
