Washington County Hospital and Nursing Home, located in Chatom, Ala., has been providing health care services for more than 50 years. The nursing home is a 20-bed acute care facility providing inpatient and outpatient care services to community individuals and their family. It offers a wide range of services, including full-service X-ray facility, pathology laboratory, CT scan, mammography, bone marrow density tests, ultrasound, stress tests and registered dietician services. The hospital also specializes in congestive heart failure treatment; doppler studies; intravenous, physical, occupational and speech therapies; and echocardiogram. Washington County Hospital and Nursing Home also provides emergency services for 24 hours and respite care for hospice patients.
