As a loving and caring community, we seek to strengthen our bonds with all Catholics and set an example for all brothers and sisters in Christ through our prayerful actions. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we commit our talents and resources to provide for the spiritual and physical needs of our parish and the greater Chattanooga community. Calling on the Spirit to help us grow in our understanding of the work He entrusts to us, we members of the parish pledge to be an active force in carrying out this mission.

        Father Charlie Burton is compassionate, devoted to his faith and to his congregational needs. Father knows his scripture, his parishioners, and has a clear forward direction in leading his parish. Father Charlie is an excellent role model for fledgling priests and parishioners alike. Theocratic in belief, he is also humanistic in dealing with all levels of congregants in his purview. All members of St. Jude's, plus those who know him, honor, love, and respect this dynamic God-chosen leader.
