        Greater mount vernon is a 93 year OLD congregation that has witnessed many transitions in OUR community. YET we remain true to OUR convictions. We believe that the church should BE an ARM to the community. And we seek to BE that ARM by supporting every effort to enhance the quality of life for ALL OUR citizens.

        Overall

        If you are seeking an intimate worship experience where the Spirit of God is moving in the lives of the worshippers, Greater Mt. Vernon is the place to go. An open and honest ministry where all are welcome. The preaching is wholesome and relevant, with a very "homey" atmosphere.
