Cobblecreek Apartments

I like living here. I have lived here going on 3 years and any time something has broken it has been fixed or completely replaced. I think Errol and Yvonne are great managers and are friendly and approchable. The facilities are clean, as are the apartments and I like the layout.

my family & i lived at cobble creek apartments for about 3 years... when we first lived there it was great! The maintenance guy was great & we love the manager Monica... we started off in a 1 bedroom apartment & then when I got pregnant moved into a 2 bedroom! If we had any problems Micky was there that or the next to fix it & always had a great attitude!

Then this last summer the apartment owner decided to become manager & hired a new maintenance guy! Let me tell you... cobble creek use to be really full of people... since owner took on management position the place is like a ghost town! That should tell ya something isn't right! In July 2011 I gave birth to my 2nd child it was absolutely scorching out! 110+ my baby was only 3 days old when our air went out! the temp in the apt was 95+ & that's w/ the fans going! We called (it was on a Sun. their emergency pager # literally 100's of times & no one EVER responded!) my babies (1.5 & 3 days old) were so comatose - & literally would not wake up bc they were too hot! finally my husband got a hold of Yvonne (manager/owner) & she said she would see what she could do & would call us back... NEVER did that happen!!! Long story short my mom bought us 2 hotel rooms & we stayed the night there - next morning I called yvonne & she started yelling at me & telling me that we broke the a/c unit! I then drove from my hotel to confront her at her office... mind you I just had a baby & was feeling completely awful! She started yelling & completely cussing me out saying that I will pay for the a/c unit that we destroyed! And that we should have opened up our windows if the apartment was too hot! (1st off its hot outside & 2nd off the ppl below us were chain smokers! They have 4+ ppl living there & constantly smoke - we never were able to open windows b/c of them!) I then had to call the apartment management company & tell them the story... NEVER ONCE did anyone apologize or ask to pay the hotel bills - I had to call multiple times & demand that they pay us back!!! After a month & threatening to sue them they reimbursed us by making our rent lower the next month!

So many other instances I could write of how awful & witchy this Yvonne is! The maintenance she has there is 300lbs & is VERY LAZY! His girlfriend works there as well & follows him around all day like a lost puppy dog! These people are VERY unprofessional! Would not anyone to rent from them!

Also they will not give back your deposit! They will make phoney charges (then never call you back to discuss them) so your money/deposit pays for the upkeep & repainting of the apartment!

Anything maintenance wise... garbage disposal, refrigerator, stove, lose electrical outlets... have been there sine they opened 20+ years ago... they will put the blame on you if they need any maintenance work! Just fyi!

Cant wait to call business bureau next & report them! - this place really should be shut down!
