Acheson Auto Works

I'm a former DSM resident and went to Acheson with damage to my hood and a very short timeframe to get repairs. They were very friendly and open to questions. When I explained that this was an old car and I didn't have time in town for a full hood replacement they patiently offered other options. While inspecting the vehicle, they offered to check several other minor issues free of charge. I was very impressed by their courtesy and genuine interest in helping me out. It's the kind of treatment that buys a lot of loyalty. I highly recommend them.

My car is a mess, but it was becoming a dangerous mess. After being given poor service and repairs at another local shop, I tried Acheson on my Mother's recommendation. Not only were they friendly, but also honest. They didn't talk down to me there, giving me information in technical terms which (if need be) they would elaborate on if I asked. They were apologetic when it took longer than expected for them to get back to me, but I was neither upset nor surprised--the car needed a lot of work. The pricing was competitive and given the condition of my car, the service was prompt. The fact that they treated me like a human being was the icing on the cake.
