Tortugas Mexican Restaurant

perfect guacamole, must have just been made. My dish was enchilada de mar which was a melt in your mouth marvel, so flavor-full. My friend had a shrimp over rice with a tasty smooth sauce of some kind. ? Going back! and soon.

HORRIBLE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY!!!

Service is horrible!!!! Went with my son at 7:48 waited 10 minutes to get a glass of water took our orders and then waited and waited and waited while people all around us who had come in after us were served had eaten and had left, we were ignored like we didn't exist! At nine o'clock we decided enough was enough and left..no one even noticed or cared. I am pretty sure then never even put our orders in nor had we stayed would we have ever been served our meals! Just stay home instead!

Don't waste your money! We walk in and get seated after standing there a bit....then someone takes our drink order. We ask for queso dip and she says oh your waitress will get your order in a minute...15 minutes later, but back to the first chick. She then tells us about their queso. Or there lack of. She proceeds to tell us that thae queso dip is actual velvetta cheese. WHAT! Who serves velvetta at a Mexican joint??!! She then brings us flat soda. Finally we order. The baby's chicken fingers were good but my hubby's fajitas were soggy peppers and onions not in any kind of sauce thrown over chicken. This is also the first Mexican restaurant I have been in that does not serve your tortillas in a covered plate. Anyway, I just had the quesadilla. Let's just say I can make a better one with some shredded cheese and a microwave. 35.00 later it was horrible. Never again! We always went to Mexican restaurants near our other homes but clearly we have to ind one in this area...THIS AINT IT!! I never ever write reviews but this was SO BAD that I felt the need to tell people. If you want to make a lot of money open a GOOD Mexican restaurant in the eagleville/Audubon/collegeville area!! You would make a ton!

Tortugas is a great place to eat lunch or dinner . I have never had a bad meal at Tortugas and will continue to dine at the restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the service is good.

I should have been alarmed when I walked in and the place was empty. I had a coupon that was in one of those local mailer coupon envelopes. I ordered a trio enchelada meal, one sausage, one beef, and one chicken. When I got the meal, it was pretty cold. The food was extremely bland, and the sausage tasted like it had ora-gel medicine or something in it. My stomach was in knots the rest of the day. The food was way overpriced too. The server was alright, but could have catered to us a little better since we were the ONLY ONES THERE. She dissapeared for long period of time. Definitely would never go there again.
