Mingo's Transmissions

Came in from texas so mingo can service my transmission always take my cars to him he is someone to trust

I've been a resident of Colton, California for over 50 years. I was recommended to Mingos transmission by an acquaintance of mine from out of town who has been going there for quit a few years now. Since the time he recommended me I haven't gone to any other transmission shop. I've also recommend friends and family to go there because Mingo does excellent transmmission work at, low, reasonable costs, and doesn't charge any type of tax on the pricing. He also gives you your receipt back with what else you should fix on your vehicle so it won't break on you again. The parts he orders are all certified through a world wide known company. There is no reason you should feel he is "ripping you off" or "stealing" any type of money from you. He is most definitely not a thief and in all honesty I am appalled by the reviews that this shop has gotten. On a personal vendetta, when I met Mingo he came off very respectable and honest. I had absolutely no reason to feel uncomfortable or not trust him for anything. I also had the opportunity to personally meet his family and get to know them more as the years have passed. Now, me and Domingo have become really great friends and usually talk on a week to week basis. Based off of the work he has done for myself, my family, and acquaintances , and knowing him on a friendly level I have given his shop a five star rating and I also recommend this transmission shop to everyone with a minor or major problem.

This guy is a total thief. He charged $500.00 to rebuild my transmission, and after I paid him it did the same exact thing as before. When I told him is wasn't working right he said he was too busy to get to it. When I said you weren't too busy to take my money, he told me to go F*** myself if I didn't like it. I told the trans to another shop and they said there were NO new parts installed. All he did was clean up the outside of the trans and make it appear that it was rebuilt. Stay as far away from this low life as possible.
