245 Dry Cleaners

2.45 Dry Cleaners completely ruined my daughter's dress ( she is 4 y.o). The design on the dress was melted/ faded away. When I calmly brought this matter to the attention of the male guy at the counter, he immediately SNAPPED!! To make matters worse, I had my two daughters with me. I was verbally attacked and humiliated, for no reason, at all!! Instead of him taking ownership of 2.45 Cleaners actions, he made an attempt to put the blame on me. In his broken English, I was accused of bringing 2.45 Cleaners a cheap dress, I supposedly brought them the dress with the design melted off, I should of checked the dress prior to bringing it to them, just to name a few. Needless to say, I was humiliated and verbally attacked in front of my children and the guy tried to blame me for their ( 2.45 Dry Cleaners) mistake. This will be my first and last time bringing clothing to 2.45 Dry Cleaners.

Don't take your sweaters here, they put them on hangers through the neck, not folded. And they don't fold them even when you ask them to do so.



The second time they put my sweaters on hangers, I didn't want to pay for the cleaning and stretching of my clothing, but the counter person threatened to call the police if I did not pay for the entire dry cleaning bill.



When I told the counter person I wouldn't be coming back, I think he said "good, we don't need your kind." I'm only 90% sure that's what he said because his English wasn't the best. Also, I'm not sure what he meant by "your kind," but he seemed to proud of the fact that they were putting sweaters on hangers, and pointed out how they put everything on hangers in their cleaners.

I have been using the 2.45 Cleaners on Two Notch exclusively for at least 2 years and thought that we had some kind of rapport with the staff. But when they discovered they had given my clothes to someone else....somehow I became the enemy. I was snapped at and asked to leave the store, then when the owner called me she asked for 3 weeks more to wait for clothes to turn up. No one signed for my clothes when they picked them up and I have the receipt! Then when it came time to talk about reimbursement I was told that I was asking for too much because my clothes were "worn out and second hand". Talk about adding insult to injury. Its been almost a month now with no resolution. If you do decide to use this cleaners, make sure you read the back of your receipt and don't leave anything of value.
