Orkin

Hello,

I am not writing this out of anger.

I just want to list the facts.

Orkin signed me up for a one year contract where as they would stop by every other month to treat my home.

I have only seen an Orkin representative 2 times in the course of 8 months, yet I still get a bill and they will not let me out of the contract. They are suppose to call prior to coming to my home, I have NEVER received a call from any representative from Orkin to schedule an appointment or to tell me when the next service time would be. I can prove I have never received a call since I have all the call details graciously provided by Vonage. I use to have SPLAT as a pest control service and they would go above and beyond to take care of me. The provided a call a couple days prior to service, and since I only work 10mins from my home they call me 20mins in advance on my cell phone to tell me they were on there way. They cleaned any cobwebs and any other insect trails left behind. Orkin does not do any of this stuff. I only switched to Orkin to save a couple of bucks, which I later found out was false. My bill is higher than SPLAT by $10.

I would seriously consider doing business with someone else prior to Orkin due to these facts.

1. Other pest control company's in the area provide more services.

2. Other pest control company's are more willing to work with you to schedule an appointment

3. Other pest control company's are cheaper and provide more services.

Please use extreme caution when dealing with this company!!
