Let me start by saying that I have been coming to this restaurant for over 5 years. My kids love this place. First we order drinks and my husband and I have have alcoholic beverages so we always order a bowl of cherries on the side. The waitress said I can't do that. My husband told her we always order the cherries and have no problem paying for them. She leave and come back with the drink order. My drink is not sweet like usually, I told her she said the bartender will charge me for another drink if he changes anything. My husband said switch with me. Cool....ordered our food, sitting there waiting on the Salas one of my son's shout there is an ant on your plate to my other son. I look and it was not an antique, it was a ROACH!!!!!!! I removed the plate off the table. Showed the waitress she said oh no that is a spider. Ma'am I know the difference and if so that is still nasty. My husband said do you want your leave, I said no because of my kids was having a ball. Chef come and call back order before he prepared it and of course it was wrong. Chef put on a great show my only complaint is why do you make the kids food last? Check come and as usual over $200.00. My husband handed waitress his card as I pack everyone to go food and she come back and sir your card is not working. My husband get up to have her run his card again while me of course check the bank account. Well we received an email from Bank of America for unusual activity on our account. I look and we were charged 3 times. Fed up can not explain my frustration. After 5 years we will never return. All this and was charged 18% gratuity that equaled to $30.

Had a good experince!

My wife and I went there last night and had a good time with some good sushi. There selection was very good, so much that I had a hard time deciding what to order and my wife(who is very picky when it comes to sushi) had pleny to choose from. The environment was modern, energetic, and invinting. They even had a local guy playing some live music in the middle of the place. The waitress was very nice and on top of everything. Overall, we had a great time, and are probably going to try the hibachi grill next time.

Waitress asked why tip wasn't more.

My husband and I just tried this restaurant a couple days ago for lunch.($40 spent) We had a great experience and suggested going there for dinner the next evening with friends/family. We made a reservation for 8 pm but didn't get sat until 9 pm. (Party of 5) What is the point of a reservation? After being sat at the hibachi grill we had a great experience. Everything was fine. Check was brought-we paid-and the waitress picked up their receipts. ($250 with bar) We were actually in the middle of discussing how we would come back...we loved the live music and atmosphere. The waitress come back over and said, "Was there a problem with anything tonight? Your tips are shared with me and the chef and my manager will see these tips and think that I gave bad service and fire me." I bet you can imagine the look on my face. I immediately became the "calm" spokesperson for our party and requested to speak to this manager. She came over and tried to say that the waitress shouldn't have done that, but didn't really smooth the problem over. I didn't mention that we tipped the 15% norm. Has this changed? Overall, we enjoyed the food and atmosphere but were so SHOCKED by what happened after we paid that it ruined our night and we will not go back. I think that the manager should have handled the situation differently.

I have visited this restaurant...

I have visited this restaurant for two years celebrating different occasions. My son chose this restaurant for the second year in a row to celebrate his birthday and to my dissatisfaction there was no show nor a treat for the birthday boy. I spoke to management and they brought him a poor excuse for a birthday treat. We have had great experiences in the past but when they are busy, they are sure to get you out of there so they can get the next party in. Good Luck!
