B.H. Macon Elementary School is an educational institution that provides a variety of academic and extracurricular programs for more than 550 students. It enrolls students in pre-kindergarten through grade six and manages a staff of over 40 teachers. The school participates in several after-school programs organized by the Texas Workforce Commission. It offers membership opportunities in student council, Girl Scouts, Future Teachers of America, Boy Scouts and math club. B.H. Macon Elementary School also provides a gifted and talented program for students with special needs.
