Bistro At The Square

No manager on duty, wait staff playing/leaning, terrible time.

This place doesn't have the worst food considering it's in De Soto granted you are not going to find many places that have real chefs and prepare fresh food in a small town, likewise here most stuff is just reheated once frozen food but the reason I even took the time to rate this place was to save someone from the behavior of the people there. The lady owner is not only unprofessional but rude and flat out mean often drinking while there. I have eaten here twice and both times the service was absolutely horrible, we had a nice young waitressduring one occasion but the people cooking were loudly cursing and complaining in the back you definitely need to be able to handle hearing the white trashy owner lady and not let it upset you and you certainly don't want kids in that place. I also think and health inspector has not Graced their establishment...ever. Since our 2 visits I called in a pick up order of some sandwiches for lunch to avoid the scene and the woman checking me out never once smiled said thank you or anything but acted like I was a huge inconvenience to her by trying to pay for my food! I wish you could rate someone zero for rude terrible service

Mrs. Queen, the owner is the rudest person on the planet. After messing up my order, she told me I was ridiculous and to pick the stuff out of my food

Where to start? Convicted felons being paid under minimum wage to prepare food, or maybe the numerous health code violations that have been shattered

I called the Bistro at the Square today looking for help to bring a frined home that lost his life over the weeken to his mom and dad. They are not the first place that i have call and will not be the last, I too own a business as well as my husband and we have gotten calls in the past for donations, if we could help we would no matter how big or small. When i called them today i was hung up on and when i called back (hoping that the call was dropped) the owners wife answered and when i told her why i was calling she cut me off and did not let me finish as to why i was calling and said i can tell you right now dont count on it i have to ask my busband and then asked for my name when i gave it to her she once again hung up.

Now i understand not haveing the funding and cant do something but you dont hang up on someone that is calling your place of business to me that is just bad business. No im not upset that they could not help, what is getting me is how rude they came across. So if im ever asked what i think of the Bistro at the Square i will tell them what happen today and my husband and myself will not be doing any of your business lunchens at the Bistro!
